Ecotherapy Groups & Programs

Climate Cafe 2025.png

In times of uncertainty and overwhelm, it's helpful to gather with others and to gather with Nature. In light of our current season of change, I'm offering monthly Climate Cafes.

Consider joining me as we build community to focus on sharing and reflecting on our emotional responses to the crises we are facing.

You don't need to be an activist or have a lot of "knowledge" about climate change. If you're feeling concerned and are seeking a space to hold these feelings with others, you are welcome.

Past Programs:

Alive Outside

Is a sliding scale seasonally based ecotherapy group that I facilitate with Shell Stern, LCSW offered since 2022.
This group is held outdoors at a local natural area with a focus on supporting folks' mindful transition into new seasons while learning and building nature connection practices that can support their individual goals.
We facilitate trauma informed nature based mindfulness, sensory and body awareness practices with opportunities for individual and shared group reflections. We will offer invitations to wild knowing as we pause and appreciate the rhythms in each moment of seasonal transition.
Each session is focused on seasonally meaningful themes, therapeutic metaphors and experiential practice while also weaving in practices that participants can implement in between group sessions and at home.

Rite of Passage

Rites of Passage Programming

Queer Mountain Quest

A first of its kind for Rite of Passage Journeys based out of Seattle WA. I co-created and guided this two week backpacking rites of passage program for LGBTQIA* Teens. Today, this program is offered under a different name and one of only a handful of Queer specific rites of passage programs in the country.
